Anime studio Production I.G. is making a new hand drawn anime film titled "Giovanni's Island".
The story of the movie is about the friendship of two children from different countries, breaking language barriers and transcending history.
The film is being directed by Mizuho Nishikubo, screenplay by Shigemichi Sugita and Yoshiki Sakurai. The film will be released on Spring 2014.
